Drawing from a non‑traditional IT career path, this talk explores why enterprise cyber response and recovery matter, how cyber incidents impact the business, and why students should look beyond traditional cybersecurity roles to build resilient organizations.<abbr data-wawebkitcopymarker="1773693331438"></abbr></p><p><abbr data-wawebkitcopymarker="1773693331438">Facilitator:</abbr></p><p data-wacontent="39" data-wacontenttag="P">Martha E. Miranda</p><p data-wacontent="40" data-wacontenttag="P">With over 30 years' experience with ExxonMobil, Martha has held roles across numerous functions within the Fuels and Lubricants business and is now part of the INformation Technology Risk Management organization.&nbsp;Martha has served in positions with increasing scope and responsibility throughout her career, starting in Industrial Lubricant&nbsp; Sales. Martha has also enjoyed working in other areas within the Lubricants business such as Product Management, Pricing, Global Marine Business, Sales Support, Distributor Marketing, Supply &amp; Distribution, and Global Customer Service.&nbsp; Within the Fuels business, Martha has worked in Commercial Fuels as the Asia Pacific LPG Manager, based in Singapore, and as the Global Retail Fuels Support Manager which included Payment Card and Loyalty Solutions Operations and Wet Stock Management for Service Stations.&nbsp; Martha’s roles spanning across all of Fuels and Lubricants include Brand and Product Integrity Manager and Cyber Business Response Project Executive. In 2021, Martha assumed her current role as the Cyber Business Response Center of Excellence (COE) Manager for the corporation.</p><p>&nbsp;</p>
