DESCRIPTION:<h2 style="text-align: center;">&nbsp;RICET Conference 2022</h2><h2 style="text-align: center;">Wednesday, November 16, 2022</h2><h2 style="text-align: center;">12:00 pm - 4:00 pm EST</h2><p>RICET, or the&nbsp;Regional Initiative for Cybersecurity Education and Training, is a collaborative effort to build and strengthen a foundation in cybersecurity education, training, and workforce for the Americas. This event provides an opportunity for community members and thought leaders from education, government, industry, and non-profits to explore ways of developing a curriculum for the current and future cybersecurity workforce. This includes examining work-based learning approaches like apprenticeships, internships, and other direct to employment experiences, as well the use of practical exercises like cybersecurity competitions as a catalyst.</p><p style="text-align: center;">2:45 – 3:50 PM EST | Panel 3: Creating More Entry Pathways for Early Career Talent</p><p style="text-align: center;">In the cybersecurity workforce there is a demand to promote the establishment of more entry-level positions and opportunities that provide avenues for growth and advancement.
