DESCRIPTION:<p style="text-align: center;"></p><p align="center"><strong>Faculty Fellowship Program:<br>Military/Industry Cohort<br>Application</strong></p><p align="center"><strong>Application Deadline:&nbsp;January 31, 2025</strong></p><p>&nbsp;<hr></p><p>Cybersecurity faculty are in demand across the nation!&nbsp; The Faculty Fellowship Program will introduce and prepare participants for a career path of teaching cybersecurity in a community college setting.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Who should apply:</strong></p><ul>    <li>Retired or separated military personnel from any branch of service.</li>    <li>Industry professionals&nbsp;with a minimum&nbsp;of&nbsp;5 years of experience in cybersecurity or related fields (those holding cybersecurity industry certifications like CISSP or CISA are strongly encouraged).</li></ul><p>All applicants must also meet the following criteria:</p><ul>    <li>    <div>    <ul>        <li>Applicant must have completed or in final year of a Bachelor's or Master's&nbsp;degree&nbsp;in a cybersecurity or STEM program from a regionally accredited institution.</li>        <li>Applicant must&nbsp;be a&nbsp;U.S. citizen, U.S. national, or lawful permanent resident residing in the U.S.or a U.S. territory.</li>        <li>Interested in bringing your real-world experience to the classroom by serving as a community college faculty member.</li>        <li>Applicants from underrepresented groups in cybersecurity are encouraged to apply.</li>    </ul>    </div>    </li></ul><ul>    <li>This workshop is&nbsp;not&nbsp;for:</li>    <li>    <ul>        <li>Current cybersecurity college/university faculty.</li>        <li>Individuals with formal teacher education or significant teaching experience.</li>    </ul>    </li></ul><h2 style="text-align: center;"><a href="	https://ncytecenter.wildapricot.org/event-5956339 " target="_blank">Apply or Learn More</a></h2>
