Cybersecurity faculty are in demand across the nation!  The Faculty Fellowship Program will introduce and prepare participants for a career path of teaching cybersecurity in a community college setting.  

Who should apply:

  • Retired or separated military personnel from any branch of service.
  • Industry professionals with a minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity or related fields (those holding cybersecurity industry certifications like CISSP or CISA are strongly encouraged).

All applicants must also meet the following criteria:

    • Applicant must have completed or in final year of a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a cybersecurity or STEM program from a regionally accredited institution.
    • Applicant must be a U.S. citizen, U.S. national, or lawful permanent resident residing in the U.S.or a U.S. territory.
    • Interested in bringing your real-world experience to the classroom by serving as a community college faculty member.
    • Applicants from underrepresented groups in cybersecurity are encouraged to apply.
  • This workshop is not for:
    • Current cybersecurity college/university faculty.
    • Individuals with formal teacher education or significant teaching experience.
